As someone new to sci-fi, what tv shows should I watch? I've already seen Doctor Who and Firefly (and I absolutely loved both of them) but as far as other shows are concerned I'd love to get some recommendations. Thoughts?

Just a quick notification to whom it may concern: earlier this week my computer finally decided to drop dead. What this means is that I have no access to Photoshop or most of my files until the new computer arrives - which according to the company who delivers it should take about 4-10 days. I can still use internet thanks to my old laptop and my mobile phone, but that's about all I can do for now. Sorry for the further delay in things - I'm hoping to get everything in order as soon as possible.

EDIT: Day 8 since my computer broke. I still haven't heard from the delivery company. Also, now my old laptop refuses to start, too. Surprise, surprise - it's because of another broken display driver. Is this what it feels like when one is slowly spiralling into the madness?

EDIT2: Day 10 since my computer broke. I need my Photoshop. And my files. And my video games. And my tv shows. But most of all... I. NEED. MY. PHOTOSHOP. I need it yesterday.

EDIT3: YES. I have it! And it's working! Time to do some art again.

^{I'm a 24-year-old digital artist and fantasy fan from Finland. I'm studying at Helsinki University major in Finnish Literature. I also work as a freelance reporter for the local newspaper, and take art commissions every now and then.
I love reading books, writing stories of my own, watching movies and tv-series, playing games and (of course) creating art. I enjoy all kinds of stories in general whether the medium is music, visual art or literature. I also love anything and everything fantasy related. It has been so essential part of my time for so long I can't even remember the time when I wasn't dreaming about fairies, hobbits and dragons. As a literature student my bookshelf is naturally filled with fantasy novels (rather than literature classics, though) and I can't even count all the times I have seen The Lord Of The Rings movies.
I always find new things to get excited about, and I often dive pretty deep into whatever it is that I love at the moment - that probably makes me some kind of fangirl-of-a-lot-of-things. This account is a place where I'll let my fandoms and original characters (and probably my own stories, too) run free - I hope you enjoy what I'll have to offer.
