Fable Tarot: The Chariot by Isriana Fable Tarot: The Chariot by Isriana
"The Chariot represents conquest, victory and overcoming opposition through your confidence and control. Any success will be a result of applying these factors to the situation. You will need to use the strength of your willpower to overcome any obstacles or challenges in your way. You may even find that by leveraging any opposing forces surrounding you at this time you can use them to your advantage. You must be determined, self-disciplined, and hard working. If you are, you will triumph over any difficulties or anyone who is trying to limit you. This struggle will ultimately make you stronger."

This is my entry for :iconfablewarroom:'s Original Fable Tarot Card Contest. I chose to depict The Chariot, the seventh Major Arcana card in most traditional Tarot decks. Although the chariot in its most traditional sense isn't present in this entry I feel like I managed to include some of the key elements of this card. The Chariot symbolizes power, success, prestige and victory, so depicting the ruler of Albion - in this case the Queen - in all her power reaching for the crown felt like a suitable choice. Light or dark, good or evil - either one of these paths will require determination, confidence and focus in order for the Hero to reach his or her goals.

(Also, the first artwork of 2014 - yay! :dummy:)

Considering how long it took to paint just this one piece and the fact that there are commonly 78 cards in a tarot deck, I highly doubt it. :XD:

Thank you! :) I doubt I will, though - I'm not that keen on the idea of drawing the same image twice.
