First Experience

Meet *Isriana few years ago.
Previous gaming history: Super Mario Bros at the age of 7.
Attempt to read the manual first: critical failure.
Result: inevitable disaster.

Joke or not, this actually illustrates pretty well my very first experience with NwN2. It was the first computer game I had ever played so I had no idea what I was up against. Manual seemed so looong and inscrutable that after few pages I just decided to skip it and start playing right away. That backfired pretty soon when suddenly the whole place was swarming with hostile gray dwarwes, and I didn't know how to pause the game or how to use the healing potions or anything. I was just clicking everything in panic and watched my characters' life bars fade away.
Now I have difficulties to understand how did I manage to get myself killed before I even reached the swamp ruins. And not just once but several times. I remember my small victory dance when I for the first time managed to fetch that damn shard without getting myself killed. Ah, memories!
Other than that, my brother had no idea what kind of favor he did to me when he bought that game. Without him, I wouldn't be here drawing this now.
