Reality check: critical failure

This seems to be the course of all my conversations whenever I'm really into some game and have spent a lot of time playing. Everyone keeps talking about all the useful things they have done during the day and the current events. When they ask about my doings my answer is usually "well, I was just battling Darth Malak / King Of Shadows / Archdemon / Reapers and trying to save the Republic / Faerûn / Ferelden / all the organic life in the universe" or something similar. :XD:
I just finished playing Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic couple days ago and was pretty thrilled about it. Too bad anyone I told about it wasn't too impressed. :P

I guess compared to this I'm fairly lucky. When my friend asked what I did over the weekend today I told her that I pretty much spent all of Saturday playing Mass Effect nonstop and all of Sunday playing Skyrim nonstop. She didn't really know what I was talking about when it came to Bioware, but we did have a rather entertaining conversation about our shared epic fails in Halo.
