Well... The incident had a silver lining after all, yes? Bron is always quick to jump on every opportunity to make profit... I must admit I startled quite a bit when that happened to me for the first time. I had just finished a burglary job of my own when I literally bumped into two random thieves trying to break in. All of the sudden there were nearly dozen guards all over those fellas - poor sods never stood a chance. For a moment I felt like that really wasn't a good place for me to stand around in my fancy Thieves Guild armor but the guard passing by just asked conversationally whether I was staying safe. After they were gone I had a little moment of silence in the memory of my fallen guild members. And then I realized that they had dropped some awesome loot which wasn't even labelled as "stolen". Now I have a habit of wandering around Riften in the middle of the night waiting for more sloppy collegues to try their luck with that door (pretty much every night someone does - and then Delvin and others seriously wonder why the guild is doing so badly, lol). So much for loyalty - in Riften it's dough before bros...
this will sound really dumb, but how do you get in to the thieves guild? I know where Riften is and where the ragged flaggen is but I can't figure out hoe to get in the thieves guild!
You should talk to Brynjolf and agree to do A Chance Arrangement quest which takes place in the marketplace. Succeed, and that will be your entry ticket to the Thieves Guild.
Well, there is only one you can do to a dead guy. Check their pockets. And if they're dead in the middle of town, drag their body away so you don't have to keep hearing "What a shame."
Ha ha ha That happened to me on time. I ended up with so many dead thieves that know it looks like a bunch of thieves passed out drunk against the railing. Great comic!
