TESO: A Prince In Distress by Isriana TESO: A Prince In Distress by Isriana
Poor prince Azah. Must be hard to maintain your image as a mighty heir to the Alik'r throne when you're constantly saved by wispy Breton mages and such.... :XD: Not that it's anything new, really. I'm soon about to move to Bangkorai to see if there's another royal butt that needs saving - and I'm willing to bet my spidersilk boots that there is.
They'd better make me part of nobility by the end of this. I'm tired of hearing that "lowborn peasant" stuff from some snotty lords when half the time it's me who's keeping royals on their thrones in the first place.

Most Redguards are terribly superstitious, though. People in Sentinel tend to avoid the Mages Guild at all costs, so they are not really ones to hang out with one of them unnatural magic meddlers.

True, but there's still that inborn pride that all men have and being saved by a girl really hurts it.

True true. I don't exactly get the winterhold's tainted rep. It's not THEIR fault. The eye of magnus stuff though.. .TOTALLY THEIR FAULT. What happens when you let thalmor in. Crazy sods. Highbourne equals stupid sometimes.

We are talking about elder scrolls online. And their not elves, their red guard. And nothing about this has to do with the College of Winterhold.

I said that in relation to superstition. I frankly find being rescued by a woman sullying your honor to be superstitious hokum. If a lady saved me I'd be like hey thanks for the rescue! Aaaaand how is that btw? I want to know wether or not it's worth the money.

Really, in my opinion Elder Scrolls Online really isnt worth the money. Look up Angry Joe's video on YouTube. He will explain it much better than I can.

I love all the dudes in distress in Elder Scroll games in general. It makes me feel all womanly and heroic.

Love you characters and the jokes you make with them and the npcs. :D

I took him with me when I fought the final boss in that zone (no spoilers, fellow commenters >:3).  He at least got a chance to redeem himself.

I'll stay here minion, you go on ahead and tell the locals what we'll need for my welcome back party. Number one: Ladies! Obvious. Number two: Dudes- but hideous ones. We're talkin' morbidly obese, we're talkin' body odor, we're talkin' acne scars- the ladies'll take one look at these uggos and BAM! Suddenly I start lookin' pretty good! It's no longer "Eww, get away from me, ya pervy little robot, what, are you crying? I didn't even know robots could cry. Alright, I'll give you a hug, but that disc tray has to stay insi-OH MY GOD! What is that, motor oil?!" Instead, it'll be, "Claptrap! Please rescue me from these uggos and hump my leg!" Which I will! Number Three: We'll need booze, in case that other stuff doesn't work. Number four: Streamers! Number fi- Are you even listening?! Are you... are you still here? *sigh* Lonely.

Why are they in danger in the first place? Don't they have bodyguards or personal retainers to protect them?
One theory(haven't played the game yet):
"Hey everyone, I'm going on an adventure!...By myself!"-any noble of Tamriel

Here's a breakdown of a typical scenario:

A noble: You're gonna fight the great evil that is plaguing this particular region? I'm coming with you.
Noelie: Let me list 35 reasons why you really shouldn't.
A noble: No. I'm coming.
Noelie: Seriously, though, this country kind of needs you alive and safe. Wouldn't you rather - ?
A noble: Shush, I'm a noble and I do what I want.
*some time later*
Bodyguard: Oh no! While you were doing the thing the agents of great evil came and snatched the noble! You have to save him/her!
Noelie:

Conclusion: they come with you, they're gonna get in trouble. You leave them behind, they're gonna get in trouble. Sometimes the main character just can't win... :XD:

Daggerfall: tries to settle vengeful noble ghost
Morrowind: effectively kills off local pantheon
Oblivion: helplessly watches Imperial line collapse
Skyrim: potentially stabilizes realm and/or assassinates emperor
Online: constantly saves the lives of royalty

I suppose it's progress of SOME kind. Maybe the next game will let you become a noble yourself.

...though knowing the series' track record, the tutorial would have you held for ransom. (-__-)

Meanwhile in the Dominion, the Queen is more down-to-earth than many non-royal celebrities. I haven't really heard any "lowborn peasant" stuff from anyone there (well except for the Queen's brother, Naemon, but he's already kind of a douche in a million ways).

King Camoran? Well he's got that "I'm the king" attitude but I like him 'cause he uses that excuse to make fun of Naemon XD

I swear my character is cursed when it comes in getting xp! I seem that I'm always two levels lower than needed for the main story quests...

I've been there so many times, but currently I actually have the opposite problem. Somehow at level 38 I'm still having tons of things to do in Alik'r desert - and the lowest level 32 quests just turned gray so I'm not going to get xp out of them anymore. Oh well.
