The Journey's Beginning

This is my entry for 's Gamescapes Contest.

The task was to depict a favorite area or a scenery from a video game. At first I thought I'd paint something Skyrim related (again) but in the end I decided to go for a game that has got much less attention from me - in this case, Fable 3.
There are some pretty awesome sceneries and areas in this game, and I had hard time choosing between places such as Mourningwood, Shifting Sands or different areas of Bowerstone city. Finally I decided to paint the very first scenery in this game that took my breath away: the cavern beneath the Bowerstone castle, right at the beginning of hero's journey. I'm fairly sure I completely missed some in-game dialogue (sounded like Walter and Jasper bickering, though, so maybe I didn't miss the most essential information) because I was too busy gaping at the sceneries...
