The Mage

The first painting from what will be a series of three, featuring my Altmer mage Laraniel near the College of Winterhold. It was fun making a full body painting of her at last - I'm especially happy with the curly hair which nearly drove me crazy last time I tried to paint it. Colors were a bit challenging with this one, too, since I still haven't got quite used to High Elf color palette. There were several versions of sickly yellow before I finally landed with the one you see here...
Also, this ended up being a quinea pig for my texture painting experiments. I'm pretty happy with some things I came up with but there's still a lot to learn. Anyway, I hope you like it - stay tuned for "The Warrior" and "The Thief"...
