1. What does your Deviantart name mean and why?
Isriana was actually a character in one of my original fantasy stories I used to write long time ago. An auburn-haired warrior/priestess, in fact. Seven years ago (good god, I can’t believe it has been for so long) I was looking for a username for a new DeviantART account and tried a few different alternatives, all of which turned out to be already taken. So I started going through fantasy character names I had created, and Isriana was my favorite out of the options available, so I went for it. I didn’t think much of it at the time, but for some reason it stuck - now I couldn’t even think of changing it.

So, that’s what my summer is going to be about this year. It would have been nice to have a little vacation before the next semester begins, but to be honest I can’t really complain. In this economy when you’re offered a job position you jump at the opportunity and say ’thank you’. Other than work I’ll be playing The Elder Scrolls Online and drawing whenever I have the time. I have lots of WIPs waiting to be finished – hopefully I can post something new for you during the weekend.
Take care everyone! And those of you who have summer holidays: relax and have fun.
Update: Aug 3rd
Greetings from Edinburgh! It has been lovely few days and the weather has been incredibly good so far. I don't think I've ever seen such a clear blue sky in Scotland before... Yesterday I visited Alnwick and Lindisfarne which were both beautiful and really impressive places - I never seem to get enough of Scottish castles. Today I took a train to Inverkeithing to see my first Highland games ever. It was an interesting thing to see though it was quite windy (to say the least). Also, I have never seen that many bagpipes in one place - I feel like I can still hear a faint buzzing in my ears, lol.
New adventures ahead tomorrow! I'll post another update whenever I can. Take care everyone!
Update 2: Aug 6th
Update time! I'm on my way to Inverness now (cheers to Scotrail for their free wi-fi) and admiring the landscapes as we rush by the eastern coast. Weather is still almost unnaturally good - let us hope it will last. I went to see the Edinburgh Military Tattoo yesterday and it was fantastic. Such an impressive show and we even got pretty good seats.
Anyway, I would've gladly stayed in Edinburgh longer, but then again it's great to see the highlands again. I really hope these past few days will be as amazing as the rest of the trip. Hugs to all and take care!
Update 3: Aug 9th
So, my trip is almost finished now and I'm leaving Inverness behind as we speak. It's been an amazing few days though. On Tuesday I got to meet with lovely Helena-Lou which was lots of fun - there was so much to talk about I really hope we'll get to meet again. Even though we didn't have a lot of time it was great to meet face to face and see the person behind the username.
On Wednesday I finally got to see Skye which was something I wanted to do the last time we were in Scotland but at the time we simply didn't have room for that trip. The beginning of the trip wasn't all that promising, though. It was raining, we were an hour late and there was an accident on the road which held our buss even further - for a moment we thought we might never get there. Anyway, the moment we arrived to the west coast it was all sunshine and blue skies. Skye was just as amazing as I thought and those few hours there left me yearning for more. Next time I definitely want to stay there longer!
Yesterday I took a trip to far North to see the most northern part of Scotland: John o'Groats and the stone stacks of Duncansby Head. Unfortunately we didn't have time to visit Orkney islands, but maybe another time...
Anyway, it was an amazing journey all in all, and now it's time to head back home.
Update 4: Aug 10th
After a full day of traveling (from Inverness to Edinburgh to Heathrow to Helsinki) I'm finally home. It was such a wondeful trip and I'm sad to leave Scotland behind - I will be back, I promise. I would've gladly stayed longer, but on the other hand... My bed! My computer! All my preciouses!
Anyway, it's good to be back. Take a look at some travel photos here.

Shrapnel defeated and shamed flies to the mountains of Draconia to contemplate this disastrous loss that occurred during an attempt to conquer the largest nation's capital city. His wings were torn and bloodied, his left horn chipped and dull, his shoulder had a deep gash that just recently had stop bleeding.
"What a pathetic failier. I can't believe my undead minions failed me. Damn that Spyro and his friends! If only I had an improved army-" With that he hatched an evil plan. He decided to fly to the ruins of the west end of the city while the villagers and dragons were mourning at the Lake of tranquility a couple of miles from the North end of the city walls. With this opportunity Shrapnel went and found the countless bodies of the fallen from both sides. He opened his jaw unleashing a dark mist that seeped into the corpses and raised them into the air. They began to twitch, and their eyes glowed red. Shrapnel's fanged teeth gleamed with delight at what he did. He exp

A GREAT MAN
death is a great man
for with out he, we would
not know the value of life
justice is a myththere is no such thing as true justice for justice is perception, is it justice to cut off the hands of a thief, is it justice to condemn a murder to death, is it justice to burn a den of bandits many would say yes, now ask yourself is it justice to cut off the hands of a poor boy who only needed money for medicine, is it justice to condemn a man who killed only in defense of another to death, is justice to burn the home of a family who was only hungry, you see there is no true justice for justice is perception
Who's the real monsterhuman's are cruel we hate based on skin and religion, we start wars over territory like animals
death is kind he doesn't care about race or religion he takes all in to his embrace with out a second thought
so why do fear him and not ourselves, all he does is pick up the pieces when we're done slaughtering each other
