Description

Last but definitely not least in my series of Divines, the chief of the entire pantheon: Akatosh, the dragon god of time. Since I couldn't quite decide whether to draw him in humanoid or dragon form, I kind of went for both... :D

"Come to me, Akatosh, for without you, for without you, my resolution falters, and my pen is stilland dry, though all the seas were full of ink, and the sky my parchment of dawn.
Serve and obey your Emperor. Study the Covenants. Worship the Nine, do your duty, and heed the commands of the saints and priests.
"

Akatosh, known as Auri-El to the Aldmer and Bormahu (Father) to dragons, is is the chief deity of the Divines. Akatosh represents the qualities of endurance, invincibility, and everlasting legitimacy. His avatar is a dragon, and he is often called the Dragon God of Time. As such Akatosh is thought to be the father of all dragons, and their leader Aduin was titled "First-Born of Akatosh". Akatosh was involved in the forging of the Covenant with the new Empire of humanity, and his blood was mystically joined with Alessia and her heirs. He gave them the Amulet of Kings and the Eternal Dragonfires, which, when lighted, would restrict the Daedra to the realms of Oblivion. Thus, he is considered the god-defender of the Empire.

And that's all for the Divines. :phew: I will attempt to make a series of Daedric Princes as well, but I intend to take a little break before I start that project. After all, there are almost twice as much Daedra as there are Aedra.
